Tetiana Pronchick - Pear with bowls. Pear with bowls (2022) 14”x18” Acrylic on canvas Artist Statement:  I see beauty everywhere in nature and hope that comes through in my use of color and paint. Recently I have been using cold wax with oil paint to create a softness and unique texture. Palette knife painting is also exciting as it creates unexpected edges and textures. Although I usually paint en plein aire, I do finish work in my studio if needed to make sure I capture my memory. My husband and I are Ukrainian American and want to do everything we can to support the Ukrainian people in the fight against unprovoked evil aggression.
