Letter by Rabbi Yitzchak Frankel of Chust to His Grandfather the Beis Hayotzer. Levelek, 1888.
In this letter, Rav Yitzchak Frankel tells his grandfather, Rav Yoel Zvi Roth, av"d Chust, author of the Beis HaYotzer, about the weak health of his father, Rav Eliyahu Frankel, av"d Levelek, author of Avnei Eliyahu and more.
Harav Yitzchak Frankel of Chust was a son-in-law of Harav Moshe Shimon Roth, Av Beis Din of Dora. He grew up in the home of his grandfather Harav Yoel Tzvi Roth and published his grandfather’s responsa Beis Hayotzer. Harav Yitzchak journeyed and settled in Eretz Yisrael where he served on the beis din of Hagaon Harav Chaim Sonnenfeld in Jerusalem and directed the Munkacz Kollel until his passing in 1931.
