Sefer Kinyan Guf, collection of prominent works and halachos regarding writing and arranging a get, with the customs of Jewish communities, arranged by Rav Nosson Amram.

Personal copy of the author of Shemen L'Minchah, who was renowned for his expertise in hilchos Gittin.

  • The title page of the Simchas Kohen kuntress bears the stamp of Rav Asher Anshel Weiss av"d Nagyfalu, author of Shemen L'Mincha.
  • The back flyleaf bears the signatures of his sons, Rav Yaakov Eliyahu Weiss and Rav Chaim Aharon Weiss.
Rav Asher Anshel Weiss av"d Nagyfalu Hy"d (1882-1944) was a talmid of the Shevet Sofer and the Arugas HaBosem. A prominent marbitz Torah and posek in Transylvania, he was particularly renowned for his expertise in hilchos Gittin and agunos and his familiarity with the seforim of Rishonim and Achronim. He taught Torah in Ujhely, and from 1913, served as av"d of Nagyfalu. He died during the Holocaust. His printed works include the 3-volume Shemen L'Minchah on the Torah and sugyos of the Talmud. (HaChasam Sofer V'Talmidav, p. 562, and the introduction to Shemen L'Minchah on the Talmud).
