by Mekubal Rav Aharon Eliyahu Refael Chaim Moshe Ferara. Born in Salonica, he was both wealthy and great in Torah. In 1847 he moved to Eretz Yisrael and joined the sages in the Beis El Yeshivah, until his death on the 26th of Elul 1888. He was a mechuten of Rav Akiva Yosef Schlezinger and collaborated with him in the Machzirei Atarah L'Yoshnah society.
