The volumes are housed in an impressive leather slipcase that was designed for this rare set – refer to the picture. Size of the slipcase: Height: 48 cm. Width: 16 cm. These volumes are from the yorshim of Rabbi Beinush Finkel, son-in-law of Rabbi Shmuel Greineman, brother-in-law of the Chazon Ish. Along with written confirmation from the family that these were the personal copies of the Chazon Ish. Someone once asked the Chazon Ish for a brachah for a shidduch. The Chazon Ish wrote down the name of the bachur and his mother and put it inside the Chazon Ish Kedushin (Maaseh Ish, section 7, p. 125). The Chazon Ish said that a sefer that had been used, had been studied from, has more kedushah than a new sefer. We can only try to imagine how much kedushah has been absorbed by these seforim that the Chazon Ish himself learned from!!
