Chassidus. Mevaser Tzedek (Zlotchov), first edition. Dubno, 1798. Sefer Mevaser Tzedek, chassidish and kabalistic commentary on the Chamisha Chumshei Torah by Rabbi Yissocher Dov of Zlotchov. The author, Rabbi Yissocher Dov of Zlotchov, author of Bas Eini, was a prominent chassidish tzaddik. His talmid, Rabbi Chaim of Chernowitz would speak about his rebbe's ruach hakodesh. He was a close talmid of the Maggid of Mezeritsch and Rabbi Yechiel Michel of Zlotchov and a Torah colleague of the Kedushas Levi. He held halachic correspondence with gedolei hador and moved to Safed where he passed away in 1795. The author quotes from the patriarchs of chassidus: The Baal Shem Tov, Reb Dov Ber of Mezeritsch, Reb Shmuel Shmelke of Nikolsburg, Reb Levi Yitzchak of Berditchov and others.
