'Chok LeYisrael'- Bound by Hand by Rav Yitzchak Kaduri with His Signature on the Binding.
Sefer Chok LeYisrael on Sefer Vayikra, Livorno edition. Bound by hand by the renowned Tzaddik and Kabbalist, Rav Yitzchak Kaduri with his hand signature.
It is well known that Rav Kaduri zatzal (5659-5766), one of the greatest Kabbalists in the past generation, was proficient in the craft of book-binding and used this as a source of livelihood in his youth. His customary practice was to bind his sefarim himself. This sefer, too, was bound by Rav Kaduri himself and he inscribed the following on the cover: "Ch. L. (Chok LeYisrael) Vayikra" with his name signed such: "HYKNY" (Hatzair Yitzchak Kaduri Nero Yair).
Livorno 5611 [1851] 174 pages, 19 cm. Page 60 is missing. Rav Kaduri added a blank page in its place with the intention of adding the missing page by hand. Good condition.
