Knowles China Company for the Field Puppies collection, issued under the sponsorship of the United Kennel Club. The reverse of each plate bears a circular printed mark reading Edwin M. Knowles CHINA COMPANY, along with hand-lettered plate numbers and the printed titles Caught in the Act - The Golden Retriever and Shirt Tales - The Cocker Spaniel.
