Fenton Persian Medallion Pattern Custard Uranium Glass Ruffled Bowl - A custard glass bowl produced by the Fenton Art Glass Company. The piece is made of opaque pale yellow glass with a satin finish, which contains uranium and exhibits a bright green fluorescence when exposed to ultraviolet light. The bowl features the Persian Medallion pattern, consisting of a central floral-style medallion on the interior surrounded by repeating scrolling teardrop motifs. The rim is finished with hand-worked ruffles, while the base is a smooth collar foot. An embossed oval mark containing the Fenton script logo is visible on the underside of the base, indicating a production date from the 1970s or later. The bowl was manufactured in the United States using pressed glass techniques with subsequent hand-shaping of the rim.
