Blue Pressed Glass Bowl in the Yutec Pattern - This decorative pressed glass bowl is rendered in a vibrant sapphire blue and features the Yutec pattern. The design is executed in the near-cut style, which was developed to emulate the intricate facets of American Brilliant Period cut glass. The exterior of the bowl is decorated with large pinwheel or buzzsaw motifs alternating with panels of fine diamond-point geometric textures. The top edge is finished with a continuous sawtooth serrated rim. The interior base of the bowl features a multi-pointed star or sunburst medallion. This pattern was originally produced by the McKee Glass Company and was later reproduced by companies such as Kemple and Wheaton. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the piece.
