Amber Pressed Glass Moon and Star Pattern Footed Compote - This footed compote is constructed of deep amber pressed glass and features the classic Moon and Star pattern. The body of the vessel is decorated with large circular indentations alternating with smaller starburst motifs. It is finished with a wide, ruffled rim and sits on a tapered pedestal base. The circular foot also displays pressed starburst designs around the perimeter. While unmarked, this specific pattern and amber colorway are characteristic of mid-20th century production attributed to the L.E. Smith Glass Company.
