The primary piece is a rectangular J.W. Collection Cake Basket featuring a single swinging handle and dark-stained horizontal accent weavers. A brass identification plate is attached to the front rim and is inscribed Longaberger J.W. Collection 1992 Edition CAKE BASKET. This basket is accompanied by its original cardboard retail box, which features blue-printed text and a corresponding illustration. The second item is a round woven wood splint basket fitted with a white plastic lid. Both baskets are constructed with the characteristic tack-reinforced rims and tight weave associated with the maker.
