Ceramic and Lithographed Tin Salt and Pepper Shakers - An assortment of novelty salt and pepper shakers featuring various materials and decorative motifs. Included in the lot are several lithographed tin shakers in the Home Grown pattern by New Design, decorated with garden vegetables including corn, tomatoes, and eggplant, and labeled SALT or PEPPER. The ceramic components include several corn-on-the-cob shakers in yellow and green glazes, and a pair of white mailbox-form shakers marked U.S. MAIL. Also present are a large tan ceramic mug labeled Grandma's Salt, a pair of barrel-form shakers with a bamboo-style texture, and two figural shakers depicting a seated man and woman in traditional Asian-inspired attire with green and purple glazes. The tin shakers are constructed with integrated metal handles and pierced tops.
