Eight Wheaton Glass Miniature Presidential Commemorative Carnival Glass Bottles - This collection consists of eight miniature commemorative flasks produced by the Wheaton Glass Company of Millville, New Jersey, under their Nuline division. The bottles are manufactured from iridescent carnival glass, featuring a metallic rainbow luster over solid emerald green and sapphire blue bases. The set contains six green examples and two sapphire blue examples. Each round, flat-sided bottle features ribbed edges and a relief-molded portrait of a United States President on the front face, bordered by their name and dates of birth and death. Visible embossed markings on the front of the bottles include a copyright symbol, the letter W, and dates of 1971 or 1972. A large, stylized capital letter N is present at the base of the relief design, identifying the Nuline brand. The presidents identified in this collection include Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe, Franklin Pierce, Grover Cleveland, Theodore Roosevelt, Herbert Hoover, and Harry S. Truman.
