Wilhelm's Natural History - Volume 3 with 68 Botanical Engravings (Predominantly grains, fruits, and vegetables) - This fine volume with 68 originally hand-colored botancial engravings is from Gottlied Tobias Wilhelm's Unterhaltungen aus der Naturgeschichte or Natural History . This volume was published in Augsburg by Engelbrecht in 1812. The volume is bound in leather with marbled boards and includes the frontispiece and complete text. The engravings were completed by Paul Martin Wilhelm, brother of the author, and others. Wilhelm's work was a fine example of the encyclopaedic science of the period.
