Vogel's Feuillets d'Art - Volumes 1 to 5, Art Deco Illustrations Throughout (Additional Volume 5 included in Lot) - This is a collection of volumes one to five of Les Feuillets d'Art and The Living Arts: A Portfolio Reflecting the Literary and Artistic Taste of Our Time . The work was published by Lucien Vogel between 1919 and 1922 in New York, Paris, and London. The publication was limited to 1200. The numerous illustration are loose as issued in original covers. These are the first five volumes, with an additional example of volume five included. Lucien Vogel created the work in an effort of “finding in the taste of the moment all that is traditional and durable.” The work contains original woodcuts and pochoirs by George Barbier, Malouze, Benito, Romme, Simon, Charles Martin, & Bakst. Many of the prints feature pochoir color. It was a beautiful art deco periodical with alluring advertisements and illustrations. Paper Size: ~ 8” by 10 1/4”
