Carey, pub. 1805 - Map of The State of New Hampshire
This engraved map is from Mathew Carey's American Atlas The work was published in Philadelphia in 1805 by Mathew Carey. This was considered the rare third edition

Mathew Carey (1760-1839) was born in Dublin, Ireland and emigrated to the United States in 1784. He was an American publisher and economist based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was active in parliamentary reform in Ireland and remained politcal in America. Benjamin Franklin recommended Carey to Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette. He gave Carey a check for $400 which he used to establish his publishing business and bookshop.

Paper Size ~ 13" by 18 3/4" (Fold Out)

The work is in good to very good condition overall. There may be some faint offset or minor imperfections to be expected with age. Please review the image carefully for condition and contact us with any questions.
Connecticut:
The far right border was printed to the right edge, and the plate mark is cropped or absent, due to how the plate was printed and bound. There is some repair at the fold from separation of the paper. There is some very light toning or offset.
New Jersey:

Massachusetts:
