Description of the work:

This attractive art print is from Tériade's Verve: Revue artistique et littéraire. It is from one of the early issues published between 1930s and 1940s in Paris for Verve. The plates from the work were done as lithographs, heliographs, and other styles.

Verve was a renowned quarterly art journal that ran from 1937 to 1960. It was founded in Paris by the art critic, Tériade. The journal published art from several noted artists including Picasso, Matisse, Leger, Miro, Rattner, Bores, Daumal, Braque, and more.

The work is in very good to excellent condition. Prints from this work often have text or image to verso that does not bleed through. There may be a few minor imperfections to be expected with age. Please review the image carefully for condition and contact us with any questions.
