A very rare book! Includes engravings and maps. Cotovicus was an author of travel books from the 16th and 17th centuries. The book was originally published in 1619 in Latin, and was translated a year later into Dutch. This is a first Dutch edition. Parchment binding.

575 pp., 21X17 cm. Good overall condition: tears and repairs to the cover's spine.
