WWII GI Owned New Testament Bible in holder PFC Don Newhard with brief story. Written inside the cover is a note To Donaldson, Christmas 1943, From Mother Jarvi. On the second page is written thus, this book was carried on the beach in my pocket when we invaded the island of Luzon, P. I. Jan 9, 1945, Pfc Don Newhard, A.S.N. 35549666, Ser Bty 80th F.A. Bn., RPO #6 c/o Pm, San Francisco, Calif. It is in excellent condition and I found nothing more written inside as seen in the photos.
