German World War II NCO dress sword with scabbard - German World War II NCO dress sword with scabbard, sword is in very good condition with normal wear from going in and out of the scabbard over the years, it is marked Eichhorn Solingen near the hilt, the hilt has some scratches on one side that could be polished away if desired, otherwise handle is excellent, the decorative swatch is complete but the leather strapping is cracking in spots, it will not fall apart though s it is sewn together with decorative metal wire, the scabbard is very good to excellent, it does have minor paint chips and scratches in spots, this is a very nice example. The sword measures 40 3/4 inches from the end of the handle to the tip of the blade.
