Chinese Red-Ground Famille Rose Floral Vase - A vividly colored Chinese porcelain vase with a rich red ground, decorated in famille rose enamels with blooming peonies, chrysanthemums, and scrolling leafy tendrils in pink, blue, yellow, and green tones. The flared neck and gently curved body rest on an unglazed footrim. The interior and mouth are finished in white glaze. A drilled hole at the base suggests prior use as a lamp. Likely mid-20th century, with a red mark on the base. It measures approximately 12 in. (H) X 6 1/2 in. (D).
