Blanc de Chine Guanyin on Mythical Beast - Chinese Blanc de Chine figure of Guanyin seated in meditation atop a lotus throne raised on a mythical beast. The serene deity is shown holding a vase, adorned with flowing robes, beaded jewelry, and delicate lotus petal carving around the base. The mythical creature features detailed facial expression and curled mane. Impressed He Zhao-Zong mark to the underside. Condition shows some small chips to lotus petals, light surface wear, and firing flaws consistent with age. Approx. 3 1/2 in. (W) by 6 1/2 in. (L) X 10 1/2 in. (H).
