Two Japanese Edo Era Woodblock Print Books - Two antique Japanese woodblock print books, one titled Genpei Seisuiki (translates to ”Rise and Fall of the Minamoto and Taira Clans”), volume 5, in 7 X 9 3/4 in., likely Edo period; another titled Zosho zakku hinagata ( translated to Architectural designs for various artisans), Viol 1 of 2, likely published during the Edo period, measuring 7 1/2 X 5 in. Both feature traditional stitched bindings, printed text, and illustrations. Condition shows age-related wear, toning, stains, edge wear, loose or fragile bindings, and minor losses to covers and pages, consistent with age and use.
