Printed in Zhitomer in 1856. The Zhitomer and Slavita printing presses of the Spira family, the sons and grandsons of Rabbi Pinchas of Koritz, became famous for the quality of its seforim, which were extremely rare and fine. The Shapiras were known for their piety and holiness while they printed. The name of the printing house became famous despite a plot on the holy brothers Rabbi Shmuel Abba and Rabbi Pinchas Spira, for which they were thrown into prison for seventeen years.
