Especially rare! Kedushas Levi with the approbation of the author; Zolkva, 1806. - Rabbi Levi Yitzchok of Berditchev (1740–1809), also known as the Kedushas Levi, was a Chasidish master and Jewish leader. He was the rabbi of Żelechów, Pinsk, and Berdychiv, for which he is best known. He was one of the main disciples of the Maggid of Mezritch and of his disciple Rabbi Shmelke of Nikolsburg. Rabbi Levi Yitzchok was known as the ”defense attorney” for the Jewish people -Saneiguron Shel Yisroel—because he would intercede on their behalf before Hashem. Known for his compassion for every Jew, he was one of the most beloved leaders of Eastern European Jewry. Some consider him the founder of Chassidus in central Poland, and he is known for his fiery avodas Hashem. This is a rare edition that was printed in his lifetime, with his consent. General condition is very good. The title page and the first three pages have been artistically restored. On the last pages, there is a hole in the middle with a few word completions. Other than that, the whole sefer is in rare, magnificent condition. Please refer to the Hebrew description for exact item details.
