First edition of Yaros Dvash by Rebbi Yehonasan Eibischutz, printed in Karlsruhe, 1779-1782. -  Mussar and eulogies from Rabbi Yehonasan Eibeshitz. Sefer Ye’aros Dvash is a two-part sefer that was widely accepted as a fundamental mussar sefer and studied by Jews from all spectrums. There is an approbation from the Shaagas Aryeh at the beginning of the sefer. Rabbi Yehonasan Eibeshitz served as the ab”d of Altona, Hamburg, and Weissenbeck. He authored Ye’aros Dvash and Urim V’Tumim. This first edition was published in Karlsruhe, 1779-1782. The front of the sefer includes lists of ancient yartzeits.
