Brought to this auction house by a reputable source, references are available upon request. It is known from our Tzadikim, that on the special night of Leil Haseder, it is a custom to use holy articles of clothing or objects that prior Gedolim used to perform Mitzvos. This is done in order to awaken their merit in this sanctified time.  Rabbi Yakov Leizer, Reb Yankele as he was known, was the Rabbi of Pshevorsk in Antwerp. He was a Talmid of Rabbi Chuna Halberstam of Koloshitz and considered him his closest role model. He suffered terribly in Siberia during the Second World War.
