First edition of Sefer Divrei Shmuel that belonged to the father-in-law of Rabbi Yeshaya of Kerestir - Two Sifrei Chassidus- the Divrei Shmuel of Rabbi Shmelke of Nikelsburg and the Divrei Emes of the Rabbi of Lublin. Belonged to the Chosid Rabbi Yitzchak Yonah Weinstock, who was the father-in-law of Rabbi Shayala of Kerestir. Rabbi Yitzchok Yonah lived in Mad at the time, and he lent this Sefer to the Rav of Mad in that time period, Rabbi Amram Blum, the Beis Shearim. The Bais Shearim wrote the following in his holy and pure handwriting: This holy Sefer the Divrei Shmuel was lent to me by Rabbi Yitzchok Yonah Weinstock. Harav Shmelke of Nikolsburg (1726-1778) was among the early righteous Chassidic sages. A disciple of the Maggid of Mezritch, he would travel along with his eminent brother, the Baal Hafla’ah, to seek the Maggid’s wisdom. His own disciples include the great Chassidic masters Harav Moshe Leib of Sassov, Harav Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev, the Kozhnitzer Maggid, the Chozeh of Lublin, Harav Menachem Mendel of Riminov, and others.
