It is common to see the Sefer Ohel Dovid with comments, but it is rare to see such long and important ones such as these.  In addition, they were written by the author alone, and he was known to give over his comments to his Talmidim. Rabbi David Deutsch (1756 – 1831). The Chasam Sofer concludes his endorsement to sefer Ohel David with the words: ”And the merit of the tzaddik will stand by you to protect us from all harm.” The Sefer is in very good condition, with wide pages and its original cover.
