Sefer Avodas Yisroel- First printing, Josefow, 1842- first edition. - Mamarim on Chassidus and Kabalah on the Parshiyos of the Torah, Haftorah and Moadim. It also includes two letters and a chassidish explanation of Maseches Avos by Rabbi Yisroel Hopstein, the Koznitzer Magid. Josefow Press, by Dovid Saadia Yeshaya Waks, 1842, first edition. The author, Rabbi Yisroel Hopstein, was known as the Koznitzer Magid and was one of the greatest tzadikim of his time. He was a great Mekubal and giant in the Torah. He was a close disciple of the Magid of Mezritch, Rabbi Elimelech of Lizensk, and Rabbi Levi Yitzchok of Bardichev. He authored multiple Seforim on all subjects of the Torah.  The Sefer Avodas Yisroel was printed 27 years after the author passed away, and is since considered a foundational Sefer in Chassidus. The Divrei Yechezkel of Shinova once described the Seforim of Talmidei Baal Shem as Kodesh, and this specific Sefer as Kodesh Kedoshim. New and fancy leather binding. A magnificent copy.
