Menuchas Asher- two parts, 1876 and 1908 - Menuchas Asher by Rabbi Asher Anshil Halevi Jungreiz of Chenger. Part one was printed in Sighet in 1876. Part two was printed in Munkacs in 1908. The holy Gaon Hador Rabbi Asher Anshil Jungreiz, the Rabbi of Chenger, was the son of the Rabbi Shmuel of Setsha. Many people were helped by his wondrous and holy powers. He used amulets and Segulos for medicine. Many of the famous rabbis of Hungary were his descendants and members of his exalted family. It is said that at a gathering of rabbis in Hungary before the World War, the grandsons of the Menuchas Asher were asked to get up from their seats. 80 of the 150 participants were the grandsons of the venerated gaon! Most of the family members and his descendants perished during the Holocaust, but his memory continues to inspire sanctity in the world of Chasidic Torah. Two volumes. The first volume is In good condition with some moth holes, mainly in the upper margins. Volume two is in very good condition. Both have new covers.
