A letter from Rabbi Shmuel Weinberg of Slonim, to his Chasidim to strengthen the YIdden from Eretz Yisrael - Rabbi Shmuel Wienberg used to circle all of Europe to collect money for poor yidden in Eretz Yisrael. This letter is addressed to the city of Mir, on the topic of collecting money for the members of the kehila in Teverya. The letter expands on his plans to go up to Eretz Yisrael, and he asks of his Chassidim that they send the money ahead of him because it would be harder to collect it once there. He also goes into detail about the struggles of aniyei Eretz Yisroel. The Divrei Shmuel of Slonim, Rabbi Shmuel Weinberg, was the fifth in the Slonimer dynasty. He was a true humble person who escaped honor all his days. He asked his grandfather not to be seated next to him by the Tish due to that. He was close to many tzadikim such as the Chortkover Rebbi and the Sanzer Rav. He passed away during the First World War.
