Contains comments and signatures by the Malbim and Rabbi Naftali Hirsch Bleichrade. First edition, Livorno, 1779. The Malbim, Rabbi Meir Leib, was born in a town next to Husyatin called Valutshisk, to his father Rabbi Yechiel Mechel. He was known as a genius who learned from Maharl Tzintz and Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Ziditchov. His first Halacha Sefer was called Artzos Hachaim. Many great tzadikim of the generation described him as a giant in Torah. He served as the Rabbi in Kempna, Bucharest, and more places. He is widely known for his writings on Tanach that was printed in several editions. Rabbi Naftali Hirsch Bleichrade was a beloved Talmid of Rabbi Akiva Eiger, and he took his son for a Chosson. His grandfather used to call him my son-in-law in his halachic answers, and he considered him as one of his children. Magnificent condition. The title page is slightly damaged due to water stains.
