Long two-page letter by Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld - This letter was written in Yerushalayim during the month of Tishrei in 1908 in honor of Rabbi Meir Deitch, the Governor and a dear friend of Zion. The author wrote in Yiddish about the importance of building houses in Eretz Yisroel, expressing his joy at the settlement of the land and the acquisition of property. The letter was signed by Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld, followed by Rabbi Baruch Reuven Shlomo Halevi Jungreiz, father of Rabbi David Jungreiz, a Dayan in the ultra-Orthodox community of Jerusalem, and Rabbi Yechiel David, son of Rabbi Shimon Deitch, who was known as one of the wise men of Yerushalayim.
