Sefer Hachaim - Printed at the behest of the Baal Ohev Yisroel of Apta- Mezhibuz, 1817 - This Sefer Hachaim was printed in 1817 at the request of the Baal Ohev Yisroel of Apta-Mezhibuz. The Sefer contains teachings on Mussar and was written by Rabbi Chaim son of Reb Betzalel of Friedberg, who was the brother of the Maharal of Prague. Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heshil of Apta, who authored the book ”Ohav Yisrael”, recommends that everyone who desires life should read Sefer Hachaim and learn from it a way of living.
