Handwritten page by Rabbi Meshilem Feivish Halevi Heller Mzabriza- Baal Yosher Divrei Emes - A magnificent page written in the sacred handwriting of Rabbi Meshulam Feivish of Zabriza. From the holy Sefer ”Etz Chaim” by the Arizal , in the actual handwriting of Rabbi Meshulam Feivish HaLevi of Zabriza- Baal Yosher Divrei Emes. [Knihynicze, Galicia, 1765-1769]. This page is from Chapter 3 of a volume of the Sefer ”Etz Chaim”, which was handwritten by Harav Meshulam Feivish, son of the late Reb Aharon Moshe Halevi of Bratshin. The writing is beautifully calligraphic. The volume includes an introduction that states, ”I began writing on Tuesday, the 23rd of Iyar.” At the end of the volume, there is an ending that reads, ”And the writing of this part was completed on Tuesday, Erev Rosh Chodesh Tammuz, here in Knihynicze, 1769.” Rabbi Meshulam Feivish HaLevi Heller of Zabriza (1742-1794) was a prominent disciple of some of the greatest Chassidic leaders of his time, including the Maggid of Mezrich, Rabbi Meir’l of Premishlan, and Rabbi Yechiel Mechel Mzlotchov. He was a close friend of Rabbi Chaim of Tchernowitz, whose Sefer ”Be'er Mayim Chaim” features several quotes from him, along with other Seforim. He was considered one of the greatest leaders of Chassidus and authored one of its first major works. Among his students: were the Arvei Nachal, the Baal Derech Emunah, and Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hagקr of Kosov, the Ahavas Shalom. Handwritten on both sides of the page. Excellent condition, bound in an impressive leather binding. One page is written on from both sides. Water stains in the upper part without damage to the text.
