Ancient Roman Imperial Coins - Constantius I - Genius Follis - 298-299 AD Trier mint. Obv: CONSTANTIVS NOBIL C legend with laureate and cuirassed bust left with spear and shield. Rev: GENIO POPVLI ROMANI legend with Genius standing left, turreted, holding patera and cornucopia; B - * in fields, mintmark in exergue not struck up. 9.09 grams. Good very fine; slightly flat at exergue. Very rare; apparently unrecorded variety. Literature RIC -; Sear - (but see 14035-14038 for other Trier issues).
