Roman Grand Tour Statuette - 19th century AD A bronze figure of a naked youth standing pouring win from a wineskin over his left arm into a vessel held in his right hand; the short hair restrained by a twisted filet above the brow, the body muscular, the wineskin carefully modelled with spout gripped in the left hand. 1.3 kg, 22.5cm (8 3/4”). Fine condition. [No Reserve] Provenance Property of a London lady, part of her family's Swiss collection; formerly acquired in the 1980s.
