Post Medieval Three Wise Monkeys Statuette - 19th century AD or earlier A bronze statuette depicting the three wise monkeys 'see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil', unusually the monkeys to the sides are covering the ears of the central monkey,who in return is covering the mouth of the right hand monkey and the right eye of the left hand monkey. 372 grams, 85mm wide (3 3/8”). Fine condition. [No Reserve] Provenance From a private Belgian collection; previously part of a private collection formed in Germany in the 1990s.
