Medieval Casket Mount with Cross - 12th-14th century AD A lozengiform mount with an inset central panel and circular attachment holes to two corners; panel with cross design featuring four elliptical arms radiating from a central blue-green enamel roundel to meet the outer border; to the outer zone a red enamel quadrant surrounded by blue enamel fill. 11 grams, 42mm (1 1/2”).
