Medieval Three Crowns Strap End - 13th-14th century AD A bronze socketted belt chape or strap end comprising a rectangular socket and sub-triangular finial; the socket with incised scaphoid decoration and a transverse collar; the finial with three dished circles, each with a crown motif reserved against a pecked background; a lobed trefoil with leaf detailing below. 25 grams, 69mm (2 3/4”).
