Large Gandharan Statue Feet - 3rd-5th century AD A carved schist statue fragment comprising a rectangular base with hatched band to the outer edges, tapering locating peg to the underside, platform with two feet wearing sandals with braided thongs, wall fragment to the rear; mounted on a custom-made stand. 19.3 kg, 34cm (13 1/2”). Fine condition. Provenance Property of a London gentleman; from his father's collection formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s.
