Large Indus Valley Water Jug - 2nd millennium BC A terracotta pitcher with squat bulbous body, dimple base, short neck with scooped rim, strap handle to the rear, band of vestigial painted ornament to the equator. 2.7 kg, 26.5cm high (10 1/2”). Fine condition. Provenance Property of a London gentleman; from his father's collection formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s.
