Roman Crossbow Brooch - 4th century AD A bronze crossbow brooch comprising a short header bar with three onion-shaped knops, deep bow with rouletting to the outer face, rectangular footplate with chamfered sides, catch to the reverse, hinged pin. 31 grams, 65mm (2 1/2”).
