Western Asiatic Amlash Net-Painted Spouted Vessel
2nd millennium BC
A ceramic jar with squat biconvex body and short base, flared rim, cranked spout with U-section tapering channel; shoulder and horizontal spout painted with net-pattern geometric design, roundels to the bulb; applied stylised face to the rump. 625 grams, 17cm (6 3/4"). Fine condition.
