Roman Gold Ring with Serapis Gemstone - 2nd-3rd century AD A gold finger ring comprising a D-section hoop, bezel with applied fluted rim, cell with inset carnelian intaglio bust of Serapis, bearded with modius. 11.8 grams, 19.92mm overall, 11.94x15.42mm internal diameter (approximate size British E, USA 2 1/4, Europe 2.41, Japan 2) (3/4”).
