Roman Gold Pendant with Gemstone - 1st-2nd century AD A high quality garnet with engraved intaglio of Victory in plumed helmet, wings folded to the rear, holding arrows in her extended hand, mounted in a gold cell with suspension loop and flange rim, three dangles to the lower edge. 4.59 grams, 34mm (1 1/4”). Very fine condition. Provenance Property of a North London gentleman; from a major London collection, 1970’s; bought Royal Athena Gallery.
