Greek Gold Pin with Gryphon - 5th century BC A gold dress pin with tapering round-section shank, hollow-formed repoussé sheet gold finial of a crouching gryphon with wings spread, forepaws raised holding a hoop with short chain and amphora pendant. 14.9 grams, 12.5cm (5”).
