Scythian Electrum Mount with Beasts - Late 1st millennium BC An electrum sleeve with applied filigree band to the rear edge, frieze of four horse-heads(?) on arched necks modelled in the round with filigree detailing, tubular attachment to the forward edge; mounted on a custom-made stand. 5 grams, 35mm (1 1/2”). Fine condition. Provenance From an old British private collection; formed between 1975 and 1985.
